Microchips Biotech is located in Boston, MA, where they specialize in creating microchips that directly dose patients with medication. To showcase their innovative creation, the goal became to create a brand that represented forward thinking and achievement. More so, we wanted to appeal to a larger audience, as they are on the brink of using medications for a wide array of diseases.
Since Microchips Biotech is mainly known for their birth control microchip, we found that it was a challenge to transition from a brand that appeals to women, to an innovative brand that appeals to all, and found success in choosing a color pallet that reflected our values in a confident way.
Designing for Microchips Biotech was a fascinating experience; trying to make a pharmaceutical brand stand out is certainly beyond the norm. I believe we succeeded greatly by finding the perfect balance between modernization, cleanliness, and adaptability.
